Newly created habitat will increase  valuable refuge for wildlife such as warblers and owls beside a much-loved area of the Thames River that is widely used for recreation.

The landowner along with Mend the Gap has created a mosaic of habitats, using rare breed sheep to graze the grassland, and native species planting to create hedgerow and tree habitats.

Mend the Gap would like to hear from other landowners on or near the river that would like to take on similar habitat creation projects.
