Hardwick Road Verge Restoration

Vehicle traffic has damaged the Hardwick Road Verge, where many wildflowers and different grasses have been seen to grow. The work will restore 153 metres of verge, building up areas of eroded verge and reseeding them with locally-gathered seeds, improving drainage, inserting wooden posts to mark passing places for cars, and improving footpaths. Potholes will also be filled to encourage drivers not use the verges.

This work will be carried out by Whitchurch on Thames Parish Council and Whitchurch Habitat Group.
