Cultivating Health – Workshops for young people
The Coaching Barn near Goring is holding workshops for young people to learn more about growing and preparing nutritious food.
The 2-day workshops for 18-30 year olds start in September 2026 and are hosted by eco-nutritionist and chef Daphne Lambert from Greencuisine Trust. Taking place in a welcoming environment at a restored barn, these practical, seasonal growing and cookery sessions will demonstrate the connections between soil, the environment and food. No prior skills required. The workshop places are funded through Mend the Gap. Nearest rail transport is 3 miles away at Goring.
Soils and Nutrition
The workshops will share insights on soils and their importance for the food we eat. Discover how the foods we choose to eat shape our health and the environment, and introduce ways to maximise nutrition and minimise waste.
The first workshop will be held on 11th & 12th September.
